An Ethical Dog Breeder
Solara Kennels was founded with the purpose to improve the multi-colored poodle breed.
We are a small, in-home breeder located in the sunny state of Arizona. Our goal is the same of all ethical breeders: to improve the breed we are so passionate about preserving. Standard poodles are an incredibly versatile and intelligent breed. It is no coincidence they are among the most popular breeds every year. Our program has a focus on improving the quality of multi-colored standard poodles and preserving the essence of the poodle breed.

It is our responsibility, as breeders, to participate and provide concrete evidence that our dogs have genetics that are worth passing down. To prove this, we maintain high standards for our program including, but not limited to: OFA testing, PennHip testing, CHIC # qualification, Diversity testing, Genetic testing, temperament testing, Obedience titles, Trick titles, Sport Titles, UKC showmanship, & AKC showmanship.

We strive to have the same or equally comparable health testing across each dog. Their titles may vary depending on personality or their personal growth. We consider these attributes in our breeding decisions in hopes to balance out potential offspring to bring out the best in both parents.
